Clare FitzRoy, Countess of Euston
Clare Amabel Margaret FitzRoy (née Kerr; born 15 April 1951) — styled Clare, Countess of Euston — is the current Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk.[1] She is also President of the Suffolk Agricultural Association with a particular interest in local breeds the Suffolk Punch horse and the Red Poll cow.[2]
Born in Jedburgh, FitzRoy is the 4th child and 3rd daughter of the late Peter Kerr, 12th Marquess of Lothian[3] She married James Oliver Charles Fitzroy, Earl of Euston, heir to the 11th Duke of Grafton on 16 September 1972. He died before his father, so she remains Countess while her son Harry is the 12th Duke.[4]
She had previously been High Sheriff and Deputy Lieutenant of Suffolk.[5]
