Claudio Aprile is a Uruguay-born chef who was raised in Toronto, Canada. He has had many successful restaurants over the years and is a judge on MasterChef Canada. Claudio is married to Heather Aprile. They have two kids together.[3]
Career
Colborne Lane (2007-2013)
Colborne Lane was located on Colborne St in Toronto, Canada close to St Lawrence Market.[4] Colborne Lane opened with great success being named one of the top 10 new restaurants in Canada according to enRoute magazine.[5]
In 2009 Claudio opened the first Origin restaurant as the executive chef and owner. The original restaurant opened its doors to the public in 2010, it is located on King Street (Toronto). In subsequent years Claudio opened two more Origin restaurants, one in Liberty Village and one in Bayview Village. The Liberty Village location opened in 2012 and was only open until 2013. The Bayview Village location opened in 2013 and closed in 2016.
Masterchef Canada (2014-Present)
Claudio is currently one of three original presenters/judges for MasterChef Canada
