Coat of Charms is the seventieth studio album by guitarist Buckethead, and the fortieth installment of the Buckethead Pikes Series.[1] The album was part of a series of thirty-one pike albums that were released in close succession from one another during 2013.
The album was announced as a digital version on December 11 and just like Twisterlend, it was also released on two different limited edition. The first format consists of 300 copies of an untitled white album signed by Buckethead himself. The second version consists of an unspecified amount of copies of an untitled white album with hand drawn covers and signed by Buckethead himself. The second version was only offered until December 18 while the first version lasted until copies sold out. Like Mannequin Cemetery, the album was signed with light blue ink instead of the traditional black ink used in the previous limited editions.
A standard edition was announced but has not yet been released.
