Codero Hosting is a provider of managed, dedicated, cloud computing, and hybrid hosting services based in Austin, Texas and Kansas City, Kansas. The company has three US based SSAE 16 data centers operating in Dallas, Texas, Phoenix, Arizona, and Ashburn, Virginia. The company offers hosted dedicated servers, cloud servers, hybrid cloud, load balancers, firewalls, disaster recovery, backup, and more.

History

Codero Hosting's roots date back to 1992, when shared hosting and domain registration company Aplus.net was founded in San Diego, California. In 2006, Aplus.net was acquired by Catalyst Investors. In 2009, Catalyst Investors sold the company’s shared hosting and domains business to Deluxe Corporation,[1] which allowed Codero to refocus its business around dedicated hosting, and managed hosting. On July 31, 2009, the company officially re-branded itself as Codero.[2]

In January 2012, the company appointed former Hewlett-Packard VP of Cloud Services and Rackspace Vice President, and Rackspace Cloud General Manager Emil Sayegh as its President and CEO.[3]

On June 2, 2015, Codero announced it had been acquired by BLM Acquisition Corp., a consortium of 32 regional telecom and broadband providers. [4] Emil Sayegh remained as CEO and President, and also became the Chairman of the Board.

Major Product Offerings

Codero has three primary product lines: Managed Dedicated Servers, The Codero Cloud, and the On-Demand Hybrid Cloud.
