Cola Couronne (French: crown cola), is the oldest manufactured soft drink from Haiti by Brasserie de la Couronne S.A. It is arguably the country's most well-liked soda, as it is a stapled beverage for Haitians and those abroad.[1] In Haiti, Cola Couronne is always in tall glass bottle as there is no aluminum in Haiti for it to be manufactured canned. Cola Couronne in the can, is actually produced in their U.S. plant in Miami called Universal Beverages, LLC.[2] So cans are readily available in South Florida and other parts of the U.S. with a sizable populations of Haitians.

Each can of Couronne has 120 calories and 31 grams of sugar. The sodium level checks in at 45 mgs, equal to the American Coca Cola, which touts its cola as “low sodium” right above the nutritional facts.[3]
