Con Foley (born 19 September 1992) is a professional Rugby Union player. He represents Australia in Sevens Rugby. Born in Brisbane, Queensland and playing for University of Queensland at a senior level, he debuted for Australia in October 2011. As of December 2015, he currently has 36 caps.
After staking a claim to the Australian Men’s Sevens jersey with appearances for the Aussie Thunderbolts in Noosa and Samoa for two years, Con made the move to international Sevens with a debut at the inaugural 2011 Gold Coast Sevens. Con is one of the most consistent players in the squad and is a regular on the World Series circuit. Con also toured South Africa with the Australian Under 20s for the Junior World Championship. Representative Honours include Australian Under-19 (2011), Australian Under-20 (2012), Commonwealth Games (2014), as well as an appearance in the 2013 Rugby World Cup, where he scored 2 tries.[1][2][3][4]
Foley competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.[5]
