Conor Grant (born 18 April 1995) is an English footballer who plays as a winger for Ipswich Town on loan from Premier League club Everton. He has previously had loan spells with Scottish club Motherwell and English Championship club Doncaster Rovers.
Career
Everton
Grant is a product of the Everton Academy, having been with the club since age 13.[3] In July 2013, he signed his first professional contract at Everton having featured during the club's pre-season fixtures.[3] His first involvement with the first team in a competitive fixture came on 11 December 2014, when he was named as a substitute against FC Krasnodar in the Europa League.[2]
Motherwell (loan)
On 2 February 2015, Grant signed for Motherwell of the Scottish Premiership on a six-month loan,[4] and 12 days later he made a scoring debut, curling in a free-kick in a 3–2 away defeat against Ross County.[5] He made eleven appearances across the season, and a further in the play-off, as they kept their top-flight status.
Doncaster Rovers (loan)
On 29 October 2015, Grant joined League One club Doncaster Rovers on a one-month loan deal.[6] Two days later he made his debut against Colchester United at the Keepmoat Stadium, opening a 2–0 win with a 20-yard strike.[7] The loan was later extended till the end of the 2015–2016 season.On his return to Everton FC he played first team football during pre season.
Ipswich Town (loan)
Grant signed for Ipswich Town on a season-long loan on 4 August 2016.[8]
