Conservative Party (United States)
The Conservative Party in the United States refers to various state parties that had no connection with one another. There was never a national party with a similar name.
In 2015, there is no nationwide party; the only state-level party is the small Conservative Party of New York State.
The state parties elected six men to the U.S. Congress :
- two representatives at the end of the 26th United States Congress
- two representatives at the end of the 40th United States Congress
- one senator in the 94th United States Congress, from New York, who caucused with the Republicans
- one representative in the 95th, 96th, 97th, 98th, and 99th United States Congress, from New York, who caucused with the Republicans
