Continental Wrestling Entertainment
Continental Wrestling Entertainment (CWE) is an Indian independent Professional wrestling promotion and training school, based in Jalandhar, Punjab. It has been launched by former WWE superstar and former WWE world heavyweight champion The Great Khali on 24 November 2015.[1][2]
History
After leaving WWE, Great Khali started his own Professional wrestling promotion in his native country India in 2015. The first two events took place at Haldwani and Dehradun on 24 & 28 February 2016 respectively.[3][4]

The company's first ever Royal Rumble was won by Shanky Singh in Dehradun at company's Second ever Pay per View on 28'th February 2016 where he last eliminated Super Khalsa.[5] Winning the Rumble also awarded him a title shot at Ashwani Babbar for his CWE heavyweight championship at a house show where he was unsuccessful in winning the title as he was defeated by then CWE heavyweight champion Ashwani Babbar in the house show.
