Ellis Vernon Davis (born March 13, 1992),[3] better known by his stage name Corey Ellis, is an American independent hip hop artist. He was born in Augusta, Maine[4] but currently resides in Bangor, Maine. He gained popularity after releasing the single "Never Give It Back"[5][6] in 2016. His single "There You Go" reached over 250,000+[7] plays on Spotify.[8]

Early life

Corey Ellis was born in Augusta, Maine on March 13, 1992. He is one of four kids. He started rapping when he was in 1st grade with his brothers and friends on the playground. He moved with his mom to Brunswick, Maine and went to Brunswick High School. Later He moved to Bangor, Maine where he attended Husson University and finished his college degree in the field of Marketing.
