Corredores is the tenth canton in the province of Puntarenas in Costa Rica. The canton covers an area of 620.60 km²,[1] and has a population of 48,307.[2] Its capital city is Ciudad Neily.
Geography
The lowland canton shares its eastern border with Panama. The Río Conte marks the western limit. The northern boundary runs through the Fila Zapote, one of the coastal mountain ranges.
The canton of Corredores is subdivided into 4 distritos (districts).

History
The canton was created by law on October 19, 1973.
