On 12 September 2016, Ferrando reached her best singles ranking of world number 318. On 8 August 2016, Ferrando reached her best doubles ranking of world number 366. Ferrando has won two ITF singles titles and one ITF doubles title.
Ferrando made her WTA main draw debut at the 2016 Guangzhou International Women's Open, where she received entry by a lucky loser spot, losing in the first round to Nigina Abduraimova.
