CryoVac Gesellschaft für Tieftemperaturtechnik mbH & Co. KG or Cryovac low temperature technologies was established in 1975 in Troisdorf near Cologne, Germany, is a leading supplier for customized cryogenic and low temperature vacuum systems for various research and industrial applications.
Activities
CryoVac offers a wide range of products, with their real advantage being the complete customisation of products to suit the individual needs. Such products consist of:
- Transfer lines for either liquid nitrogen or liquid helium. Which are made to order so can be fully configured to match spatial constants.
- Tabletop cryostats designed to be fully mountable on optical benches. Allow one to measured in various geometries e.g. transmission or reflection.
- Helium pott/bath cryostats, designed for operation between 1.3 to 4.2K.
- Helium or Nitrogen flow cryostats for operation between 1.3 to 500K or 77 to 500K, respectively. With the option of being feed from an external dewar or build-in tank.
- Low temperature Joule–Thomson cryostats for operation with both Helium-4 or Helium-3. The Helium-4 version has a guaranteed operation base temperature below 1.5 K and in single shot mode can even reach temperature below 1 K. The Helium-3 version has an operating base temperature as low as 500 mK.
- Dry systems utilising pulse tube refrigerators to reach temperatures below 3.0 K. These system do not require liquid helium and a such have reduced operational costs.
