Cryptotaenia japonica (Japanese: mitsuba) is a plant species native to Japan, Korea, and China.[2] The plant, also known as Japanese honewort,[3] Japanese parsley, or mitsuba,[4] is edible and is commonly used as a garnish and root vegetable in Japan,[5] and other Asian countries.[6]
