Cynapse
Cynapse is a private web software company that was incorporated in April 2001 in Mumbai, India and later in June 2006 in Delaware, United States.
Although Cynapse is mostly a products company, it has also undertaken service projects for large software companies like Microsoft[1] and institutions like INSEAD.
Projects
Some of the public projects that Cynapse has created are:
- Localscope - Localscope is a window to your world that lets you explore your surroundings like never before. Discover and find places, people and information around you using geo-tagged data from multiple local search engines, social networks, media sharing services and other apps.
- Cyn.in (pronounced "sign in") - an enterprise collaborative information management application, available as a hosted (SaaS) solution.[2] There are both free and paid editions.
- SyncNotes - a desktop notes application coupled with a web service to help users manage their small pieces of textual information in notes that float on their desktop spaces. The desktop software and usage of the web service is provided free of charge.
- NEO Binaries - a web portal that provides news, general information, reviews and consulting on web-based applications.
- uZable.com - the website on which Cynapse hosts, maintains and publishes its public projects, including the uZable Flickr gadget.
