Daffy's Rhapsody is a 2012 theatrical 3D computer-animated short film starring Mel Blanc as Daffy Duck (via an archive recording of a song, "Daffy Duck's Rhapsody", which was recorded in the 1950s by Capitol Records[1][2]) and Billy West as Elmer Fudd.[3] It was released on February 10, 2012 in front of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.[4] The short has not been released on home video. This short is currently the last cartoon to feature Blanc in an acting role.

Plot

The film stars the two Looney Tunes characters Daffy Duck and Elmer Fudd. Elmer goes to see an anti-duck-hunting musical starring Daffy and his hunter instincts kick in, prompting him to chase Daffy throughout the short while Daffy sings to the tune of Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, initially unaware of Elmer but soon realizing the danger.

Release

This short was initially scheduled to be released theatrically preceding Happy Feet Two in 2011, but the studio decided that I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat was more suitable for the film starring penguins.[5]
