Daniel Cartier
Daniel Cartier (Daniel Joel Cartier) is an American songwriter, singer and actor. He was born June 25, 1969 and grew up in Exeter, New Hampshire. There he already had a band in the age of 11. In 1991, he moved to New York City, where he was playing in subway stations and later also in nightclubs. He produced two albums on his own label. One of them (The Subway Session) was in fact recorded in the subway station. Finally, he signed a contract with Elton John's music label A&M imprint Rocket Records. There he published one album (Avenue A). In 2005 he appeared as main character in the experimental and controversial film Flirting with Anthony, directed by Christian Calson.
