Daniel Offenbacher (born February 18, 1992 in Scheifling, Austria) is an Austrian footballer who plays for Wolfsberger AC.
Club career
He started playing football in his local club SV Scheifling in Styria. He played in different youth teams and came to FC Red Bull Salzburg in January 2006 and played in the U17 and U19 squad. His professional debut was in the second squad, Red Bull Juniors, in the match versus FC Wacker Innsbruck on October 16, 2009. His first match in the first squad was exactly one year later in the match versus SV Kapfenberg where he substituted Ibrahim Sekagya in the 68th minute. In January 2012 he went out on loan to Blau-Weiß Linz in the First league (2nd Austrian League). In May 2013, it was confirmed that he agreed a two-year contract with Sturm Graz.
International career
Daniel Offenbacher played for Austria U17 in the qualification matches for the European Championship. Currently he is member of the U21 - squad.
