Danilo Ramon Subiaga Fernandez[1] is a Filipino actor, doctor, and politician currently on his third and final term as Representative of the 1st District of Laguna. Prior to his election in the Congress, he was formerly a member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and the Vice Governor of Laguna under the governorship of Teresita Lazaro. He also ran for governor in 2004 but lost to incumbent Governor Lazaro. Currently, he is running for the position for mayor of Sta. Rosa City, Laguna.
House of Representatives
After losing the 2004 gubernatorial elections, Fernandez decided to return to politics by running for congressman at the first district of Laguna. He won the elections defeating former congressman Nereo Joaquin Jr.
Fernandez ran for reelection in 2010 and won defeating his predecessor, Uliran Joaquin.
As a member of the House of Representatives, Fernandez sponsored and authored 19 House measures. He also co-authored 13 House Bills and Resolutions.
