Dhanraul Dam also known as Dhandhraul Dam. Dhandhraul Dam is located at distance of about 23 km from Robertsganj on the Robertsganj-Churk road, in Sonbhadra district, U.P., India. The Dam has been constructed over the river Ghaghar and water of the reservoir is being used for irrigation purpose by the canals originating from here like Ghaghar canal to the nearer Districts Mirzapur, Chandoli and Sonbhadra. Dhanraul Dam's Water supplies to City Robertsganj for drinking water.This dam is constructed on Ghaghar River so this dam is also called Ghaghar Dam.
