Richard Arthur "Dick" Smith (May 17, 1939 – February 19, 2012) was an outfielder and first baseman in Major League Baseball who played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets in parts of three seasons spanning 1963–1965. During the 1965 midseason, Smith was traded by the Mets to the Dodgers in exchange for pitcher Larry Miller.[1]
