The Dinacharya Institute is a college specializing in teaching holistic medicine and Ayurveda to licensed professionals in the health and wellness fields. The Institute was founded by Dr. Bhaswati Bhattacharya in 2007, to train practitioners in Ayurvedic medicine and promote the Ayurvedic community in New York City.
The Institute also conducts an annual thinktank by invitation only in India, to teach and collaborate with ayurvedic physicians who are eager to merge modern science with clinical evidence and ayurvedic practice. The school has collaborated with the CSIR Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, The Agri-Horticultural Society of India, The National Research Institute of Ayurveda, The AVP Group, The Dept of AYUSH/Government of India, the Indian Institute of Toxicological Research, and the Nair Hospital of Bombay.[1]
DINacharya is also the only college in partnership with the AVP Group with the goal of establishing international standards of education.
Dinacharya is a concept in Ayurvedic medicine that looks at the cycles of nature and bases daily routines around these cycles.[2]
