Dino Martinović (born 20 July 1990) is a Slovenian footballer of Croatian descent.

Biography

Born in Karlovac, Croatia, (at that time part of SFR Yugoslavia until 1991), Martinović started his career at Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb.[3] He was signed by Slovenian club Krka in January 2007.[4] The club is located in Novo Mesto, near to Slovenia–Croatia border. In August 2007 he moved to Gorica, a club from Nova Gorica.

Gorica

Martinović was signed by Gorica in August 2007 but loaned back to Krka.[5] Martinović made his debut for Gorica in 2009–10 Slovenian PrvaLiga. In January 2010 he was loaned to Krško.[6] In August 2010 he was signed by Bela Krajina in a half-year loan.[7] In July 2011 Martinović left for Adria.[8] However he returned to Nova Gorcia in the same transfer window.

Martinović played 4 times in the 2012–13 Slovenian PrvaLiga before he left the club in August 2012. Martinovič was in the starting XI on 4 August, his last game for Gorica.

Verona

Martinović was signed by Serie B club Verona in August 2012.[9] His contract was documented by Lega Serie B on 8 August. He was awarded no.29 shirt of the first team on 17 August.[10]

On 31 August 2012 he was signed by the third division side AlbinoLeffe.[11][12] On 22 August 2013 he was signed by Paganese, also in the third division.[13][14]

On 29 January 2014 Martinović left for Swiss Challenge League side Lugano.[3][15] The club was located in the Italian speaking Canton that border Italy. In summer 2014 he was released by Verona.[16]
