Divjakë is a town and a municipality in Fier County, western Albania. The municipality was formed at the 2015 local government reform by the merger of the former municipalities Divjakë, Grabian, Gradishtë, Remas and Tërbuf, that became municipal units. The seat of the municipality is the town Divjakë.[1] The total population is 34,254 (2011 census), in a total area of 309.58 km2.[2] The population of the former municipality at the 2011 census was 8,445.[3]
It is well known for the nearby National Park of Karavasta. Divjaka Beach has a great sand, and the forest is one of the best in Albania.[4] Last but not least, Divjaka is not part of Lushnja.
