Doreen Shaffer, also known as Doreen Schaffer or Doreen Schaeffer, is a Jamaican singer. Her real name is Monika Johnson.
She is a founding member of the The Skatalites, existing since 1963 and as the ska band are who largely developed the Ska.
Style
Their musical style is attributable to the Ska, reggae and rocksteady.
