dotCloud
dotCloud is a Platform as a service company owned by cloudControl. It was the original developer of Docker.[1][2]
Programming languages and platforms supported by the company include JAVA, Ruby, Python, PHP and Nodejs.
In January 2016 the company sent out the following letter to all of its customers:
Unfortunately I have to inform you, that cloudControl our German parent company has filed for bankruptcy. Due to this, dotCloud will be shutdown on __February 29, 2016__. To avoid service disruption of your apps hosted on dotCloud or prevent data loss, you are required to migrate your applications.[3]
