The Dr. Ronald P. Guzman Medical Center Inc. is a Secondary Level Hospital located in Carig, Tuguegarao City, Philippines. It has a bed capacity of 250. It is the first in the Philippines to have a Hitachi brand of X-ray with Digital Radio Fluoroscopy and the first and only magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) Machine in Cagayan Valley Region II. The Main Hospital, also called "The Cross", which is adequately furnished with rooms and wards It is Founded by Dr. Ronald P. Guzman, CEO on October 10, 2010 (10-10-10), who is also the president and founder of Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines and International School of Asia and the Pacific and the Holy Infant Hospital located also in the city.

In 2012, the RPGMC opened its Dialysis Center. In 2015, RPGMC is set to open its sub building namely Medical Arts Building for the additional quality service.

The Hospital is known as a regional destination of quality healthcare and is accredited by PhilHealth and awarded the Hospital "Center of Excellence".

Dr. Ronald P. Guzman envisioned the need to provide a health institution in Cagayan Valley with complete facilities that caters to all social classes. Dr. Guzman yearned for quality, both in the physical aspect of the hospital and the best quality of service at a price that can be afforded by most, hence the slogan “Quality Health Care within your reach”. He aimed only for the best and with God’s grace, on February 3, 2011 the 250-bed Dr. Ronald P. Guzman Medical Center Inc. (RPGMC) opened its doors to the public.

With humble beginnings, the majestic sanatorium stands tall within the capital’s regional center. It takes pride of being one of the hospitals granted the Center of Excellence by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHILHEALTH) despite being a newbie in the field. A rare event in history of various health institutions, RPGMC takes pride in being granted a Level 2 Status from the Department of Health. Such prestige is backed up by most up-to-date hospital equipment and facilities which includes X-rays with Digital Radio Fluoroscopy and a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (the first and only in the Region).

Complete with adequately furnished rooms and wards to cater to various clients’ preferences, RPGMC offer multiple types of accommodations including 16 Suite Rooms and 21 Private Rooms. All of which are equipped with air-conditioners, personal refrigerators, LCD TV’s, hot and cold shower and piped-in oxygen facility. Intercoms, nurses’ call bell and fully motorized beds are just one of the few add-ons as the Medical Center assures the most comfortable and luxurious stay in a five-star hotel ambiance.

RPGMC also have wards to include a 150-Bed PHILHEALTH CENTER dedicated for the agency’s constituents, which are likewise spacious and designed with proper aerodynamics to make each client’s stay a pleasant one. Furthermore, RPGMC takes a one of a kind step, in being the only health center with a well-trained team addressing concerns specific to that of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation.

To complete the facilities, a properly designed and laid-out, fully modern 8-bed capacity Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units furnished with ultra-modern Radiant Warmer, OR Complex with 4 theaters, 4 DR’s and a spacious Emergency and Trauma Department. Above all, the institution takes precedence in having the most number of well trained and experienced Nurses, Radiologic, Dialysis and Medical Technicians, Pharmacists, Midwives and other personnel, working hand in hand with the complete line of Medical Specialists.

Early in 2015, RPGMC opened its Senior Citizen Healthcare Ward under the program of PhilHealth No Balance Billing (NBB) to cater less fortunate olds of the Region.

Soon, RPGMC will open its Medical Arts Building (MAB) to accommodate the Dialysis Center, OPD Cancer Institute, Medical Doctor’s Clinics and more private rooms.

To date, RPGMC is becoming the choice of clients as far as Ilocos Region.

In March 2016, RPGMC is awarded by Cagayan Isabela Kalinga Apayao Batanes (CIKAB) Northern Blood Services Zone the award of SANDUGO in the active participation of RPGMC in blood donation activities for the year 2015.

Also, In March 2016, RPGMC is awarded by the Cagayan Valley Police Regional Office a Certificate of Appreciation for the relentless support providing medical assistance to the PNP personnel who were Wounded in Police Operation during the conduct of medical evacuation on February 2016.

In the Last Quarter of 2016, Apayao Cagayan Medical Center, the sister hospital of RPGMC, will be opened to serve and to give care for the patients of the Provinces of Cagayan and Apayao.
