Dubiel [ˈdubjɛl] (German: Dubiel, 1928–38:Neuwalde, 1938–45:Daubel) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kwidzyn, within Kwidzyn County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Kwidzyn and 69 km (43 mi) south of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany. In 1945 returend to Poland. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
