Eric Syddique
Eric Mahmood Syddique is a former chief executive of the Electoral Reform Society,[1] and a former Liberal Democrat councillor on Sevenoaks District Council in Kent.[2][3] He is secretary of the Electoral Reform Society's Electoral Reform International Services company, which provides assistance in conducting elections worldwide,[4][5] and has written extensively for Voting matters[6] and Representation.[7]
Syddique is a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House,[8] and vice chairman of the UK's H S Chapman Society.[9] He wrote the entry for Enid Lakeman in the 2004 Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.[10]
