The Eastern Army (東部方面隊 Tōbu Hōmentai) is one of five active Armies of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force headquartered at Camp Asaka in Nerima, Tokyo. Its responsibility is the defense of the Kantō and the Northern half of the Chūbu region.
