Ed Davender
Ed Davender (May 26, 1966 – April 28, 2016) was a former American basketball player. He was a noted streetballer, who was an elite NYC guard.[1] He was considered to be the best NYC shooting guard throughout High School.[2] Initially he played at Alexander Hamilton High School (New York).[3] He averaged 29 points per game and left Hamilton High School when it closed down.[4] He was a McDonalds All American while playing for Boys and Girls High School Ed played for the University of Kentucky Wildcats and was drafted by the NBA in the 3rd round.[5] In 2010, he was convicted of a basketball ticket scam and was sentenced to 8 years in prison.[6] He died on April 30, 2016.[6]
