Eduardo Davidson

Eduardo Davidson (1910–1994) was a Cuban songwriter and musician. He is often counted as the creator of the pachanga, because of the use of this rhythm in his 1959 song "La Pachanga", though other sources contend that José Fajardo's charanga band was the first to perform a pachanga.[1]
