Elurupadu
Elurupadu (Telugu) is a small village in the Kalla mandal of West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is border village within the Krishna District under Madras Presidency of British rulers on pre-independence colonial India. The original name of this village was Yelurupadu stated by historical reports. Because this village is surrounded by Upputeru, a medium-size river / channel for the outlet of Koleru Lake to enter into the Bay of Bangal. This village has one Hamlet called Juvvalapalem.
It comes under Undi Assembly Constituency and Narsapuram Parliamentary Constituency.The village is Located at 415 km from Hyderabad,95 km from Vijayawada, 35 km from Gudivada, 20 km from Bhimavaram and 8 km from Akividu. The main occupation of people in this village is Farming (paddy,Aqua) there are two canals supplying water for farm lands. This village has all minimum required amenities like High school, Schools,Hospital, Sub Post Office, Andhra Bank.
