Epitonium humphreysii, common name Humphrey's wentletrap, is a species of small predatory or ectoparasitic sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Epitoniidae, the wentletraps. [1]

Distribution

This wentletrap occurs in the Western Atlantic Ocean. and is found from Massachusetts, south throughout Florida and through the Gulf states to east Mexico, and in Brazil.[2]

Description

The maximum recorded shell length is 24 mm.[3][2]

Habitat

Minimum recorded depth is 0 m.[3] Maximum recorded depth is 95 m.[3]
