Epsilon Gruis is a star in the constellation Grus. Its apparent magnitude is 3.49.[2]Located around 39.53 parsecs (128.9 ly) distant,[1] it is a blue-white subgiant of spectral type A2IVn,[3] a star that has used up its core hydrogen and has begun to expand off the main sequence. The star is suspected of having a close companion.[4]
