Eric Tomlinson (born April 22, 1992) is an American football tight end for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for UTEP.[1]
Professional career
Philadelphia Eagles
After going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, Tomlinson signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was released during final roster cuts on September 4, 2015.
Houston Texans
On September 6, 2015, Tomlinson was signed to the Houston Texans' practice squad where he spent his entire rookie season. He was released on September 3, 2016 as part of final roster cuts.[2] The next day, he was signed to the Texans' practice squad.[3]
New York Jets
Tomlinson was signed by the Jets off the Texans' practice squad on November 5, 2016.[4]
