Eshtehard (Persian: اشتهارد) (Tati: اشتارده, öštârda) is a city in and the capital of Eshtehard District, in Karaj County, Alborz Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 16,988, in 4,813 families.[2]
People of Eshtehard belong to the Tat ethnic group and they speak the Tati language.[3][4][5]
