Eva Celia Lesmana (born September 21, 1992) is an Indonesian actress, model and singer of Dutch, German and Javanese descent. Celia had appeared in several film and television, including Sherina and Jamila dan Sang Presiden. Celia is a niece of director film Mira Lesmana.
Early life
Eva Celia Lesmana was born on September 21, 1992, on Jakarta, to musician Indra Lesmana and actress Sophia Latjuba.[1] She has three youngest stepbrother. Celia was grew up in acting environment and since at 8, she began played her acted in FTV which only appeared as guest star. Since in the Sekolah High/Scope Indonesia, Celia had ever selected as best acted for short film Out of the Smoke which included in a school festival in 2006.
Career
Celia began her debut career for starring a soap opera which directed by Multivision Plus, titled Sherina in 2006 and played as lead role. In addition, Celia also appeared in several commercial of soap and herb, with her mother. After ended her contract, SinemArt has signed contract for her to working the second soap opera, titled Juwita Jadi Putri. Celia also played her debut film in horror Takut: Faces of Fear (2008) for segment "The Rescue".
In late 2008, Celia had moved to Los Angeles, United States, with her family for continuing her college and decided to vacuum while in entertainment. After graduated her college, Celia return to played the drama film in 2013, Adriana, which also played as lead role. A year later, Celia has starring for an epic film which directed by Ifa Isfansyah, Pendekar Tongkat Emas, with Reza Rahadian, Christine Hakim and Nicholas Saputra.[2]
In addition as actress, Celia also began her debut as singer and releasing first single in 2015, titled "Reason".[3] Her single had directly listed into Best Soul/R&B/Urban Male/Female Solo Artist in Anugerah Musik Indonesia. Celia has announced that she officially releasing her LP English-album, titled And So It Begins with helped by several musician, including American band Snarky Puppy.[4]
