Fagerholm III Cabinet
Karl-August Fagerholm's third cabinet was the 44th government of Republic of Finland. Cabinet's time period was from September 29, 1958 to January 13, 1959. It was Majority government.
Fagerholm's third cabinet was formed after parliament elections in 1958. The winner of the elections was Finnish People's Democratic League, but it wasn't taken to the government, so the cabinet's biggest party was Social Democratic Party led by Karl-August Fagerholm. The Soviet Union didn't trust the Social Democratic Väinö Leskinen's supporters. The Finnish-Soviet crisis became known as "night frost" and the government was known as "night frost cabinet". The Agrarian League resigned from the government and then the entire cabinet resigned.
