Fairmont Zimbali Resort is a luxury hotel located in Zimbali, South Africa and is owned by Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. The hotel has 154 rooms, 6 floors, 9 food and beverage outlets, and is located near the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast of South Africa.
History
The hotel opened up in June 2010. In addition to Fairmont, IFA Hotels & Resorts are a main shareholder in the property. The hotel is a member of the Southern African Association of the Conference Industry (SAACI) and Southern African Tourism Services Association (SATSA) as well as the local ILembe Chamber of Commerce. A signature feature of the hotel is the 5 floor spiral staircase as well as the feature wall of African wire baskets that is frequented by guests.

Fairmont Zimbali Resort is located within the Zimbali Coastal Resort & Estate near Ballito on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast in South Africa. The resort is located 16 km from the King Shaka International Airport, 3 km from Ballito City Centre, and is a 25 minute drive from the Durban City Centre. Attractions near Fairmont Zimbali resort include iSimangaliso Wetland Park, UKhahlamba / Drakensberg Park, Historic Zulu Battlefieds, and various game reserves including Phinda Private Game Reserve, Hluhluwe–iMfolozi Park, and Thanda Private Game Reserve.
