The false osman (Schizopygopsis stoliczkai) is a cyprinid freshwater fish living in Asia (Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Tibet). Young individuals and small adults live in shallow streams and pools, while large adults inhabit the main river. It grows to 34 cm (13 in) TL.[1]
