Centone Karagümrük is a football club from the Karagümrük neighbourhood of the Fatih district in İstanbul, Turkey.
History
The club was founded in 1926. It joined the national tiers of the football pyramid in 1933.
The club played in the Turkish Premier League in the years 1959-1963 and 1983-1984.
Karagümrük were relegated to the Turkish Regional Amateur League twice despite 2–1 winning Anadolu Üsküdar at away match in 2009.
The side currently plays in the TFF Second League, having been promoted in the 2013–2014 season.
Supporters
Karagümrük fans have a strong hooligan element. Their biggest rivals are Kasımpaşa, Zeytinburnu and Eyüp. They have strong friendships with Beşiktaş fans and Karşıyaka fans.
