Fear Factor India was an Indian adaptation of the popular reality show Fear Factor. The series premiered on Sony TV on March 10, 2006, and was presented by Indian television actor Mukul Dev.[1] The season 2 and onward seasons of the series aired on the Indian channel Colors Viacom 18.
Concept
Fear Factor India — Jo Dar Ghaya So Mar Ghaya was a 13-part series that aired every Friday at 9:00 on SET Asia. Shot in the exotic locales of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Host
The Show was hosted by the television actor Mukul Dev. About the show's Indian version, Mukul said;
It's only when it comes to food tasks that they (Indians) lag behind because unlike people in China and South East Asia, we are not used to insects and raw meat. The most difficult one is to eat the raw organs of goat.[2]

Every week a number of contestants (celebrities) participated in the show. The winner got Rs. 10 lakhs. In every episode new contestants participated.
