Gökçe (Kurdish: Selax) is a town in Kızıltepe district of Mardin Province, Turkey. The town is situated at 37°12′N 40°42′E / 37.200°N 40.700°E in southeastern Anatolia plains along the state highway which connects Mardin to Şırnak. The distance to Kızıltepe is 12 kilometres (7.5 mi), the distance to Mardin is 20 kilometres (12 mi) and the distance to Syrian border is 8 kilometres (5.0 mi). The population of the town is 7467[1] as of 2011.
