GSM London (formerly Greenwich School of Management (GSoM)) is an independent school of higher education based in Greenwich, south-east London, and also Greenford, west London. Founded in 1973,[3] it offers business-specific courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels alongside other specialist training, and caters to a large number of international students. As of 2015, GSM London has educated over 20,000 students.[4]
Courses
GSM London offers two-year accelerated courses alongside standard three-year study periods, depending on the course chosen. Foundation-level courses are also available as part of an extended degree programme.[5] It operates three annual intake periods in February, June and October.
Its courses cater to undergraduates, postgraduates, professionals, international students and those looking to improve their English language skills for business or further education. GSM London's specialisms include accounting, finance, economics, human resource management, travel and tourism, digital marketing, as well as LL.B. and MBA degrees.
Campuses
GSM London operates three campuses across London. Its headquarters is at Meridian House in Greenwich, part of the former Greenwich Town Hall complex. The building has a distinctive brick clock tower,[6] and was built in the Art Deco style in 1939.
Its newest campus is found at Greenford in the London Borough of Ealing, which opened in 2012 and is equipped with technologically-focused amenities.[7] Additionally, GSM London has expanded its teaching space to central London, operating at the London Bridge Study Centre in the London Borough of Southwark, close to Borough tube station and The Shard.[8]
Partnerships
GSM London has worked in partnership with Plymouth University since 2006 to deliver undergraduate degrees, which are validated and awarded by Plymouth.
GSM London is a member of the Association of Independent Higher Education Providers (AIHEP) and is accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education (BAC).[9]
The college has no connections with the University of Greenwich, also based in Greenwich.
