Access roads
To get to the mountain you follow the road from the Rhone valley, from Sierre and through Val d’ Anniverse in the direction of Grimentz. The other option is to continue to Zinal. Good roads in both cases.
If you decide to approach the mountain from the Grimentz side, pass the village and continue towards the Moiry lake.
Climbing Garde de Bordon
The mountain can be climbed either from the Zinal side, or from the Moiry lake where the route starts directly at the dam. In both cases your first goal is Col de Sorebois (2835 m). From the Col just follow the ridge in the south direction. There are cairns to show you the route. There is only one fixed rope section, all the rest is a simple walk with breathtaking views.
There are many great peaks to climb around like Sasseneire, Pigne de la Le, and Becs de Bosson.
