Geoffrey Wedgwood

Geoffrey Heath Wedgwood, RE (6 April 1900 – June 1977) was a British artist.

Born in Leek, Staffordshire. After service with the British Army,[1] he studied at the Liverpool School of Art from 1919 to 1921.[2] He also attended the British School in Rome winning the Prix de Rome for engraving in 1925. He was known mostly for architectural etchings.[1] He later taught at the Liverpool Institute from 1932 to 1935 and at the Liverpool School of Art from 1935 until his retirement in 1960.[2][3] He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers in 1934.[4]
