Georcy-Stephanie Thiffeault Picard (born 8 February 1991 in Montreal, Quebec) is a female Canadian recurve archer. She represented Canada in Archery at the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics. She lives in Montreal and is a member of Club de Tir à l'Arc de Montréal.

Career

Georcy-Stéphanie Thiffeault Picard started archery in September 1999 discovering it through the summer camp Sport Montréal.

Her first appearance on a national team was in 2008[1] at the World Youth Championship in Antalya, Turkey where she finished 18th. She came back in 2009 for the World Youth Championship in Ogden, United States of America and for the 2011 edition in Legnica Poland.

She won a spot on the Canadian national team to compete at her first World senior championship in Antalya, Turkey in 2013. She also competed in the individual recurve event and the team recurve event at the 2015 World Archery Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark.[2]

On May 9, 2016 she finished in 3rd place at the World Archery Americas Continental Qualifying Tournament in Medellin Colombia. She won a Bronze medal and qualified Canada for a women's spot at the Rio 2016 Olympic games.[3]

On May 12, 2016 she finished in 7th place at the Medellin 2016 World Cup stage 2 in Medellin, Colombia. [4]
