George Gillan is a Scottish-Australian retired association football (soccer) player.[1] Commencing his career in Scotland with Arniston Rangers, Gillan is most notable for playing in the Victorian State League and the defunct National Soccer League for Fitzroy United Alexander (now Heidelberg United)[2][3] forming a famous link with fellow Scottish winger Ian Gibson. Gillan later returned to the state league having a brief stint with Brunswick Juventus.[4]
