George Warren (1880 – 16 May 1917) was an English professional football forward who played in the Football League for Leicester Fosse, Burton Swifts and Stockport County.[1] He also played in the Southern League for Coventry City.[3][4]
Personal life
Warren served as a private in the York and Lancaster Regiment during the First World War and was killed in France on 16 May 1917.[2] He was buried in Philosophe British Cemetery, Mazingarbe.[2]
